Argentinian architect and designer Germán González Garrido (1974) graduated from University of Buenos Aires in 2001 and has over 15 years of experience in Design, Visualization, Photography and Entrepreneurship.
He moved to Madrid where he started Proyecto Digital a design practice that embodies architecture, interior design and product design based in Madrid.
He created Fotocalle, a StreetView like service to capture cities and roads in very high resolution.
He created XLmuseum, a virtual museum platform to increase museum´s geographic reach.
He created RiverScan, a mobile mapping solution that enables cost-efficient registration of rivers and waterways for preservation and restoration.
He started designing lighting objects and created the Light Swing, the Concrete Ball, and the Black Hole among other lighting experiments. Got featured on Design Milk, PSFK, Intel, Trendhunter, Journal du Design and Adafruit. Black Hole lamp was featured on the Spring Market Tabloid of Interior Design Magazine.
He moved to Vienna to join Studio Kanso as Senior Designer to collaborate in hardware design projects for My Sugr, a successful health startup based in Austria.
