Germán González Garrido is an architect, trained at the University of Buenos Aires, and a luminaire designer specializing in the design and development of architectural luminaires. He is the founder and creative director of Singular Lighting, where he leads the conceptualization and creation of collections that combine innovation, functionality, and meticulous attention to detail.
His background in architecture, combined with extensive experience in photography, has given him a precise understanding of how light behaves in space, composition, and visual perception. This perspective influences each of his luminaires, which are conceived not merely as functional objects, but as tools capable of defining atmospheres and revealing the essence of a space.
His collections integrate technical innovation, visual comfort, and a carefully curated selection of materials, with a particular focus on sustainability, acoustic conditioning, light quality, and a design conceived to endure over time.
He views lighting as an essential element of architecture, conceiving light and design as tools to create experiences that enhance how people perceive and inhabit spaces.
